The Challenge
Engineering & Structural Hurdle
The client required a commanding double-decker presence to host ministerial bilateral meetings while accommodating 3,000+ daily trade visitors. The venue imposed strict 48-hour build time limits and rigid floor load thresholds.
The Solution
The Integrated In-House Solution
BTL House pre-fabricated the modular structural steel core in our Cairo factory and conducted a full mock-up trial 10 days prior to the show. We incorporated lightweight aerospace honeycomb paneling to stay 20% below venue load limits while exceeding aesthetic grandeur.
The Design Concept
Spatial Narrative & Lighting
Drawing inspiration from clean molecular pipelines, the exterior featured flowing ribbons of illuminated acrylic that converged into a central interactive sustainability atrium.
Execution
Factory Pre-Fabrication & Handover
Manufactured over 14 days in our workshop using 5-axis CNC routers for curved timber bulkheads. Deployed a 60-man installation crew working in two 12-hour shifts to achieve completion 6 hours ahead of inspection.
